It seems like almost every product lately has big name celebrity endorsing it in marketing campaigns. From rappers like Travis Scott (McDonalds) and Lil Baby (Rockstar Energy), to athletes like LeBron James (Sprite) and Tom Brady (Beats Headphones), to movie stars and all other types of celebrities, brands are getting everyone with a large social media presence involved. Over the past couple years we have seen a huge increase in influencer marketing. Not just from the typical "celebrities", but it has expanded into people known social media influencers. These are people who have amassed a large social media following by creating popular content on the site. Brands are mostly working with influencers on Tiktok, Instagram, and YouTube. This has allowed brands to stray away from the typical pop-up ads and commercials, and allows them to create more subtle and unique advertising campaigns.
